This Week in Picks: NBA Dominated Everything

NBA picks accounted for nearly half of all action this week. That tracks — we're deep into the regular season and every game matters for playoff positioning.

The Good

A few cappers had legitimately great weeks. Three different users went 4-1 or better, mostly riding NBA spreads. The common thread? They were all targeting home underdogs getting 4+ points. That's been a quiet trend for the past couple weeks and it paid off again.

NHL picks also had a solid run. Totals in hockey have been oddly predictable this season — unders are hitting at a higher clip than usual, and the cappers who noticed early are reaping the benefits.

The Not-So-Good

NFL picks were rough. Playoff games are just harder to call — the talent gap shrinks and you're essentially flipping coins on some of these matchups. The cappers who tried to get cute with props got burned especially hard.

Overall platform win rate for the week came in right around 48%. Not great, not terrible. It's a realistic number and we'd rather show that honestly than pretend everything hit.

What Stood Out

The most interesting thing this week wasn't any single pick — it was the pattern. Cappers who focused on one league and made 3-4 targeted picks significantly outperformed the ones who scattered picks across every sport. We keep seeing this over and over.
